10, China Association of Automobile Manufacturers released data, China's auto sales in August was 1,664,500, down 3%. So far, China's auto sales in August before the completion of 15.0172 million, below the level of the previous year. Automobile Association Secretary General Dong Yang said that based on monthly decline in the automotive market, the proposed purchase of first-tier cities to increase the supply indicators, to boost the market.
Data show that in August car sales were completed 1,569,700 and 1,664,500, respectively, compared with last year production and sales fell 8.4% and 3%, respectively. Among them, the passenger car sales were completed 1,341,600 and 1,418,500, down 9.4% and 3.4%, respectively. While commercial vehicle sales were completed respectively 228,100 and 246,000, down 2.3% and 0.6%, respectively.
On this basis, the first eight months, China's car sales were completed respectively 15,182,400 and 15,017,200, sales volume slightly lower than the previous year level. Among them, the passenger car sales were completed respectively 12,970,600 and 12,782,100, an increase of 2.4% and 2.6% respectively over the previous year, representing a deceleration of 9.2 and 8.1 percentage points respectively. While commercial vehicle sales were completed 2,211,700 and 2,235,100, down 13.5% and 12.6% respectively over the previous year. However, unlike a few months before the market, the new energy vehicles and Chinese car brand is still outstanding.
It is understood that in August 21,303 new energy vehicles production, sales and 18,054, respectively, year on year increase of 2.9 times and 3.5 times.
The Chinese brand passenger cars were sold in August 559,000, an increase of 2.5%, accounting for 39.4% of total passenger car sales, market share, an increase of 2.3 percentage points. And before August, Chinese brand passenger car sales 5,237,200, an increase of 12.2%, accounting for 41% of total passenger car sales increase 3.5 percentage points higher than the previous year.
